Frequently asked questions
How the V2 catalog, collection tools, sources, accounts, and privacy choices work.
Is KLXCards an online store?
V2 is a collector reference and collection tracker. It does not operate its own cart or checkout. Product pages may provide clearly labeled links to third-party retailer searches or listings.
What does Owned mean?
Owned and Wanted state belongs to your account and to an exact collectible printing. It is separate from sealed-product commerce and from the factual contents of a product.
Why are cards and printings separate?
A numbered card identity can have alternate artwork, finish, stamp, language, or other collectible variants. KLXCards keeps one canonical card while preserving each verified printing independently.
How is checklist completion calculated?
Completion follows the published checklist requirements for a release. Alternate treatments remain collectible without being silently substituted for required base entries unless the documented rule permits it.
Where do product facts come from?
KLXCards prioritizes official publisher sources and preserves source citations and migration provenance. Unverified pull rates, contents, guarantees, prices, and availability are not presented as facts.
How do account recovery and migrated accounts work?
V2 uses Supabase Auth. Passwords and WordPress password hashes are not migrated. Eligible legacy users receive a secure activation or password-setup path only during the owner-approved migration stage.
Does KLXCards use analytics cookies?
Only after you choose Allow analytics, and only on the production public site. Account, admin, recovery, sign-in, sign-up, and collection routes are excluded. You can reopen Cookie preferences from the footer.
